    Default Turkey calls

I've done most of my hunting in the Adams County area and I've recently moved into Franklin County. I'm hoping to start turkey hunting again this coming fall and I know it is popular in Franklin County. I'm curious what some of your favorite calls are. I'm currently looking at some pot calls by A+J out of Camp Hill and can't decide between glass, slate, or aluminum. Opinions?

The calls that I use are the one's the birds seem to like. I use Woodhaven calls. They are easy to use and I sound like a turkey...not like a hunter trying to sound like a turkey.

I use their Crystal stryker call and their "Real Hen" box call. I've called 'n killed gobblers with both. And for fall, I've done the same.

I've really taken a liking to the Primos Chick Magnet box call pictured below.

It comes with two different paddles and each has a distinct sound that I've had turkeys answer to each. No turkeys yet with it, but I'm talking with 'em each time I'm out....

If gun control worked, Chicago would be like Mayberry, instead of Thunderdome.
