Re: Bolt action love?
As the fall season is just around the corner, this 12ga bolt gun always becomes my favorite. Savage 212 slug gun. Bolt action, two round detachable mag. I just pulled it out to bed the front lug, clean up the stock as it was touching one side of the barrel, and lay epoxy down in the base of the forearm to stiffen it up.

Re: Bolt action love?
It's been over a year since anyone woke this thread up do I figure that I will post some updates on my Reminton 260. It turned out to quite a pig once it was all said and done a weighed close to 20 lbs with bipod and sling. I swapped out the AICS 2.0 for a simple Manners T2 with mini chassis and just added a Triad stock pad. Also had a new barrel spun up for it and we took .050" off of the entire contour. Finally I added a properly timed JEC brake. All together it shaved about 3lb off of the gun and it is much more fun to shoot off of barricades and rooftop scenarios.
