Pocket Pistol?
Kicking around the idea of picking up another pistol that i could pocket carry. I think I would carry in more places if i had a gun to throw in my pocket that was convenient. I was thinking something like a ruger lcr in .357. Anyone pocket carry this? Also wondering about an xds. Let me know any opinions, suggestions you guys have. I currently own and carry a full size xdm in 9mm, and an xd .45 compact in a crossbreed supertuck. I also have a super redhawk Alaskan in .44 mag as far as handguns go, but i obviously dont conceal that haha. I was not sold on any one the .380 guns because I have fairly large hands, and they are expensive to shoot/iv heard about lots of reliability issues. So, what are your suggestions/ current set ups for pocket carry?

I am about to give you the best advice possible: try before you buy.
We are all different and there are lots of variations out there in the market. Shoot it before you buy it. That is all.Join the groups protecting your rights from the fools trying to take them from you!

Re: Pocket Pistol?
I have a lcr 357. It's a little bulky to throw in your pocket and carry all day comfortably. Just my opinion though.

Re: Pocket Pistol?
pocket carry, the lcp can't be beat. if you're hands are too big though, i guess it wouldn't work for you. i carry my p238 sometimes too, but i don't like pocket carrying a single action. xds too large for pocket, and i have yet to find a revolver that is comfortable for pocket carry. as mentioned, go handle them all! how about the lc9 ?

Re: Pocket Pistol?
I don't pocket carry often. I have too much stuff in my pockets. But sometimes it's the only way to carry. When I do it's a S&W 642 in a Mika pocket holster.
Make sure your pants have deep pockets. Some of the cheap jeans sold today don't.

Re: Pocket Pistol?
I pocket carry a Ruger LC9. Its a great little gun.
I agree with the previous poster who gave the advice to try before you buy.
The LC9 has a rather long trigger pull that many do not like. I read about it in reviews, so I tried it before I bought it.
