So....I bought a box of .45acp 100rnds WWB from Wal-Mart today.


I've never owned a .45acp.....The largest I've owned was a .40S&W (and that was 2+ years ago).

Now.....I've got two 9mm's and two .357's. I'm used to that ammo. No biggie.



But now that I've got the .45acp - I'm mesmerized! They're soooo heavy! They’re menacingly FAT!
I keep finding myself going to just feel the heft of the box in my hand. Touching the bullets. Wanting to shoot them!

The 100rnd WWB of 9mm PARES in comparison!



Do I have a surfacing .45 fetish?

I should be picking it up later this week.

I also ordered a Serpa holster for it.



I haven't broken the news to my CZ's that they are about to be trumped as the main 'carry piece' yet. I hope they aren't too upset!

Ben Wah Ball ammo is very hard to find. Although I believe the Ben Wah hollow points are even harder.
I may be in the market for a CZ by the way. Just sayin.

To answer your question - the 9mm is used by the Huns and cheese eating Frenchmen. The .45 ACP is American, like Mom, apple pie, and clogged arteries. It goes BANG when you shoot it, it makes a bigger flame, and its pretty well lethal. Plus it goes into the M1911...which is one of the best guns ever made. Go with your instincts, my son....go to the .45

It's okay, really. I remember my first box. If they advertised ammo on TV, ACP would be the Enzyte of the ammo world. Problem is, no other ammo is going to seem adequate, now. Hold a box of 9mm now, you'll see what I mean.
