2013 Independence Match

Registration is open for the 2013 Independence Match at Wilkes-Barre Rifle & Pistol Club. I just signed up and will be an SO for the match. Jerry Gregg is the match director, if you shot the Burt Schaffer match you met Jerry, he was an SO on the "Cleaning Poo" stage.

Match dates are July 12-13.

I'm looking forward to the match. I've never attended before but friends who have have always enjoyed it.

Who else is going?

Call me slow. But for that price, what is involved? How's it supposed to go?

That's in the typical price range for a sanctioned IDPA match. As I stated above, this will be my first time shooting this match, but I assume it'll be similar to other sanctioned matches. More stages, more elaborate stages than a typical club match, a shooter bag with goodies, possibly a prize table, and of course awards based on IDPA rules.

It was a good match. I finished 1st place SSP Master and 4th overall. I also had the best time on two of the stages.
