I've notice a few threads lately asking about out of state sales, and it got me to thinking.
I remember visiting my co-worker/friends home state of Kentucky about 14 years ago, and stopping at a local, weekly flea market. There had to be 10-15handguns for sale, the owners didn't give a shit about transfers, out of state residence, nothing. They just wanted to sell.
Now, I have to admit, I was tempted. But I was good.
I like sleeping with my wife every night, not Bubba.

So, I got to thinking, again. Yeah, I know twice in one night....wahoo!
Other than some pesky interstate purchase laws, why wouldn't someone want to buy guns from a bunch of old hilljacks in the hollers of Kentucky. I've seen first hand that those good ol' boys don't give a shit about the law. They sure as hell don't give a shit where somebody lives who wants to buy a gun from them. Just curious, any thoughts?

Notice to the Feds(and Mods): I have never, nor will I ever, purchase any firearm illegally from this or any other state. Ever.
Nor do I condone others making illegal purchases.
This topic was brought up merely as a curiosity.
I do not remember where the flea market was exactly.
I have know way of contacting this person, I don't even know where he is today.
