.30 Cal 113 Grain Lead Casted Bullets (Lee Mold) PlEaSe Help!!!
Does anyone have any reload data on a .30 caliber FN bullet using a 113 or 115 grain bullet? I bought my dad the bullet mold to make me some light bullets; however, I can't find any reloading data on these. I have contacted the Lee website over a week ago and they are not responding.
This is what I bought and it is for a .30-30 Winchester (Marlin 336W) Lever action gun.
Bullet Mold (309 diameter):

Bullet Sizer (309 diameter):

I was also told that cast bullets in a rifle usually use pistol powders, to keep velocity down and barrel leading to a minimum?
Thanks for the help!!!

Check reloading manuals, some available on line www.alliantpowder.com www.hodgdenpowder.com
( I think thats right)
I read somewhere that lead bullets should not be used in Marlin Micro Groove barrels due to
leading issues. Your barrel will indicate Micro Groove on it.
