Annual Spring Sporting Goods Only Garage Sale
OK everyone, it's that time of year again. Time to start getting ready for the Annual Spring Sporting Goods Only Garage Sale. This sale is open to any PAFOA member (and their friends) who would like to participate.
As before, I'll host it at my place in Lemont. As of right now (May 10) the date of the sale will be June 7 & 8, from 8AM-5PM each day
I'll do the advertising and those selling can chip in what they want to help cover the costs.
Here's a partial listing of stuff I know will be there:
Reloading bits and pieces
Empty, cleaned brass (lots of .38 spec)
Holsters
Several scopes
Some Ammo (35 Rem, 260 Rem, other)
Savage 12FV in .204 Ruger (w/6-24X scope) and ammo
Ruger Security and Police Service Sixes (several)
NIB Beretta 92A1 (unless sold prior)
32" Sanyo TV (works good)
WeaponShield CLP (pens and bottles)
Whatever anyone else brings (there are always several more handguns and rifles from various people).
There WON'T BE any romance novels, pots and pans, dinner ware, vases, carnival glass, clothes (other than mil surp or hunting).
If you decide to participate, let me know what you might be selling and we'll get it listed here for everyone to see.
The exact address for the sale is:
307 Matilda Ave.
Lemont, PA
This is just a bit north of State College, about a mile from the Nittany Mall.
This is a rain or shine sale (it will be inside a 2 car garage)
Any questions, let me know.Last edited by Xringshooter; May 12th, 2013 at 06:39 PM. Reason: update

What, no one interested? Come over and sell your old stuff, buy new stuff (or different stuff), talk guns, hunting, whatever. Drinka few brews, soda, iced tea, eat some snacks, just have a good time.

Re: Annual Spring Sporting Goods Only Garage Sale
Well, right now it looks like June 7 & 8 as the May31 is out for me (work committments) and on the 14th I'll probably be on the road also.
So - June 7 & 8 is the date
If you want to sell something and won't be able to be at the sale you can bring your stuff by and give me a list of it with your selling price and what the lowest is that you will go. I'll try to get it sold for as much as possible and then you can pick up your money and/or unsold stuff on Sunday June 9.
You can bring your stuff by the house any time between now and the 7th. Just call before you come over if it is during the day so we can make sure someone will be there to receive it. I'll store it until the sale.
Any questions you can PM me here or email me at: rlutz730 (at) comcast (dot) netRon USAF Ret E-8 FFL01/SOT3 NRA Benefactor Member

Two more additions to the sale:
GP100, used, blue, 4" barrel
GP100, used, blue, 6" barrel
The ONLY reason you can tell they are used is because of the turn line. They are both superb guns with nice triggers..Ron USAF Ret E-8 FFL01/SOT3 NRA Benefactor Member

Re: Annual Spring Sporting Goods Only Garage Sale
The 92A1 is brand new in box (even has the cardboard outer box) and comes with 3 magazines. I am asking $650 (that is the out the door price which includes PA sales tax and the background check). If it has to be shipped to another FFL, the price will be $630 shipped.
