Things are getting more interesting. This is from Joshua Prince's facebook.

Unfortunately, I just found out from the Erie Times that Judge Robie has decided to ignore the evidence submitted and the binding statutory and case law and find all defendants guilty.
So the news agencies are getting the information from the courts before the attorney is? This is quite interesting. Looks like it will be option number 3.

Judges should be on a three strikes rule. If they're overturned by an appellate court three times, they're automatically removed from the bench and disbarred.

Just to let everyone know. I was not one of the 8 that got a citation. And this is the only information we have gotten about the hearing yesterday. As far as I know, nothing has come from the courts, to Mr. Prince officially. This is just what I am getting from him, and it is sounding crazy.

And Streaker, I agree. There should be some risk for them.

There may be one out there somewhere, but I'd wager that MOST MDJs are not attorneys.

You know that most people don't pay attention to how their local judges behave.

Judge convicts men in Erie gun rally case
    By LISA THOMPSON, Erie Times-News
    lisa.thompson@timesnews.com

Eight men who carried guns into Perry Square during a June gun-rights rally have been found guilty of violating a city ordinance that bans firearms and other weapons from public parks.

Erie 4th Ward District Judge Tom Robie issued the ruling today, one day after the men appeared for summary trials in Erie County Court.

Robie assessed fines and costs of $220.50 against the organizer, Justin Dillon, 26, of Erie, and each of the other seven defendants -- Allen E. Lepley, 34, of Canonsburg; Edward J. Tenon, 33, of Erie; Christopher Phillips, 45, of Erie; Jay Ziegler, 32, of Erie; Donald L. Davis, 34, of Catasauqua, a suburb of Allentown; Ryan R. Avione, 21, of Erie; and Brian Shank, 49, of Erie.

The men plan to appeal the ruling in Erie County Court, the men's lawyer, Joshua Prince of Bechtelsville, Berks County.

"We are greatly disappointed in Judge Robie's decision in light of the evidence submitted by the Commonwealth, the testimony provided by the Erie police department and the binding statutory and case law precedent that precludes such a determination," Prince said.

Is it time for another armed gathering in the center of Erie with about 100 armed participants?
Plan it and I'll take vacation to be there.
