Re: real steel
Maybe not steel specifically, but definitely NOT plastic.

Re: real steel
Steel, there is just something primal about it, sold MY last plastic frame gun the other day.

Re: real steel
I like metal handguns, one isn't all steel but it is full size. I might get a little plastic pocket gun at some point, other lawfully purposes and all, but it will only be of necessity.

Re: real steel
My steel (comparatively speaking, of course) pistols:
Sig P220
Sig P226
some 1911's
EAA Witness
Astra A80
Astra A200
Got a bunch of plastic, but the only one worth mentioning is an HK USP. I'm soon to be ditching all my 9mm's (except the Sig and the Witness) which really only leaves room for .45 acp, metaltastic thunder pistols (and one lonely HK).BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

Re: real steel
I prefer all steel as well. I always seem to equate heft with quality. I know that is not necessarily true as polymer guns are fantastic. Love my CZ 75 limited stainless, Kahr K9 Elite 03, NAA PUG, and Ruger SP101. I do however want a polymer mouse gun, nice and light for summer & bike rides. Nothing wrong with polymer IMO, just my preference.

Re: real steel
I am definitely a fan of steel pistols, I know there is nothing wrong with poly pistols, I just find they feel cheap in my hands. My pistols are all revolvers with one exception,a P220. Call me old school, guess I am,but its what I enjoy the most.

Really, plastic and iron have their place. I love my iron, but I have a growing affection for my plastic as well.

Re: real steel
I enjoy steel pistols as well. I like the heft and it doesn't feel cheap to me. I do have one polymer pistol which I like but it doesn't compare to 2+ lbs of army-spec 1911. Even my wife passed on a polymer Ruger .380 in favor of a steel Sig. Just feels right in the hand to me.

Re: real steel
my 92fs was my abosule go to, glock, fn and a bunch of other polymers never came close to replacing it. my new 1911s though have taken over. there is just something about a full size 1911 with the milled in front checkering and patterns. watching metal get cut by cnc is so much more elegant and impressive than watching a press shoot resin to make plastics.
