Possible Shooting' Reported as Remington Road Closes for Police Activity

Police activity prompted Remington Road to close Thursday afternoon between Lancaster Avenue and Haverford Road in Lower Merion's Wynnewood section, according to county authorities.

The bulletin at 1:30 p.m. indicated residents should avoid the area for about an hour. Police told Patch they cannot comment on what is happening and that it is an "active crime scene".
