Re: 1954 Russian SKS price
I just purchased a 1954r all matching numbered (including stock) SKS for $400.00. It has been refurbed. It is in excellent shape and I can't wait to get it home.
Not sure what today's pricing would be on these but what I paid is under what current value should be, I think.
Anyone have input on pricing at today's market?

Re: 1954 Russian SKS price
Great deal even for a refurb. With serious collectors who know what they are looking at they will run between $550.00 and & $750.00 depending on Arsenal, year, how heavy a refurb was done, and matched vs force matched parts.
Non refurbs are $900.00 plus depending on condition, year and Arsenal.

Re: 1954 Russian SKS price
Post some pics.
Soviet SKS prices have really spiked in the last 1-2 years-- far more than prices on the other national variants.
1954, All matching refurb (I'm assuming Tula) is a steal at $400. 1954 is the most common year, and even refurbs are fetching twice that nowadays. But $550-$700 is the new fair range for an all matching refurb. If it is as you describe it, you did very well.
Congrats!

Re: 1954 Russian SKS price
Bring it out to the group shoot next Saturday!
I miss my SKS. Of all the guns I've needed to sell, that's one of the few I regret selling.
(It was a lowly Yugo though- not a Russian)I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!
