    Default Deceased Father's Guns...

New here; want a community of gun owners to talk with; learn from etc. But first things first-gotta take care of some gun issues and maybe someone out there can give some direction.
My son's father was in the Army; so of course he had a nice gun collection. He recently passed (not in the war-at home). My son is his only living child so without a Will everything goes to him. I am familar with weapons since he taught me about them in our younger years together, my son was taught gun safety from his dad so we are comfortable with guns.
    Here is the dilemma:
    1. Son is only 16
    2. Dad lived in Texas
    3. We live in PA
    4. How do I get the guns transferred to PA? (I know these will need to be put in my name)
    5. Here's the kicker-My son's uncle (dad's brother); took all his dad's guns with him to Akansas and said everything is in storage; how do I know what his dad actually had so my son gets what is rightfully his?

Hire an attorney familiar with probate and gun laws. You have a bit of a convoluted firearms situation coupled with family issues. Try GunLawyer on here and if he can't help he can probably point you in the right direction.

Some of my fellow members will now ask you a bunch of questions, some of which are even germane to your situation. First one will be, "Was there a will?" They are not attorneys. Find professional help. Good luck.

Definitely speak with Gunlawyer who is a member of these forums. He is one of the few people here qualified enough to handle the legal intricacies of your situation.

Edit: I swear if any of you post the video of the dea agent in the school who blew his foot off I'm going to come over there...
