Father/daughter bonding...Great day.
The kids were out of school today, so I had two teenaged kids around the house. I sent the boy outside to do some yard work, the daughter to get caught up on her neglected chores, and I set out to bubbafy my H&R Topper 88 in .410 ga.
About an hour into the job, my daughter came down to the shop to sit with me as she took a break...which turned into an afternoon filled with gun cleaning and education.
My soon to be 17 year old daughter can now field strip a 1911A1, my SW9VE, Norinco 213, my Kahr CM9, and my wife's Kahr CW9...the first three blindfolded.
Needless to say, she didn't get her chore caught up, but she had an education that will forever be in her mind, and an afternoon with the old man that will forever be in her heart. With everything this kid has been through, today was much needed for her.

She will probably get thrown off Facebook now. But that means more time with dad at the range and she can clean the guns.

Time well spent.
I always look forward spending time with my 4YO daughter. I'm hoping that she will enjoy shooting as much as her father does.

Not to be a Richard,
But be seriously glad this isn't NuYawk. Otherwise after posting on F/B the authorites would be knocking on your door for endangering a child and confiscation of your firearms.
PA rules, so far.

Good job Dad!
I started mine out about that age. Today, at the age of 21, my Daughter accompanied the old man to the range. It builds a bond you'll share with her for the rest of your life.
