Concealed Carry
I have a Utah and a Arizona concealed carry permit and I 'm a resident of NJ.
I have been trying to get clarification from the State of PA and the city of Phila. concerning the law on these concealed carry permits. The state of PA will not answer a yes or no question and refers me to the A.G. page, and Phila gives me conflicting answers, along with everybody else. PA's written agreement says they don't honor a Non Resident permit from Arizona and Utah's has no information from PA's web site except they honor Utah's. Do they honor Utah' non resident permit? Also I have contacted several law enforcement agencies by E-mail on this subject and none have responded back.

Re: Concealed Carry
I believe you are good to carry in PA with both.
I believe the AZ restriction is for only PA residents. And, AFAIK, UT has not been restricted (yet) by our AG.
But I'm sure someone will be along to correct that if I am incorrect.

Re: Concealed Carry
An AZ permit should allow you to carry in PA, though Federal Gun Free Zones would still be off limits.
However, the problem you then have is transporting the firearm between NJ and PA, and vice versa.

Re: Concealed Carry
Thank you for the info, looking forward for the day I can escape from this Nazi state. Another quick question, can I get a non resident PA LTCF?

Re: Concealed Carry
Effective 4/8/13, AZ CCWs issued to anyone other than an AZ or Pa resident are no longer reciprocated.
AZ CCWs issued to Pa residents will no longer be reciprocated on/after 8/9/13.

UT CCWs continue to be reciprocated regardless of state of residence.Last edited by tl_3237; April 28th, 2013 at 08:23 PM.

Re: Concealed Carry
I am Delaware resident with a carry permit and was going to apply for a Florida so I can carry in PA and came across this new agreement between Florida and PA.
http://www.attorneygeneral.gov/uploa...florida_pa.pdf
It does not clearly or otherwise state non residents are included. After reading this thread did PA eliminate reciprocity for all non resident permits Florida included??

Re: Concealed Carry
Non-resident florida no longer accepted in PA.
You can vehicle carry with your non-reciprocal carry permit from any state, but you can't conceal or carry in Philly.
Since you have Delaware, you can get PA LTCF. I think it costs about $20 for 5 years. That is the easiest solution. Or get Utah if you are looking for reciprocity with more states.

Re: Concealed Carry
Thank You for the answer. I will look into the Utah but more likely visit Mom for a day and go to the court house in Norristown. They are ok to deal with right?
