Thanks for all the input. Next time around I have a few new options. I had heard of Steve. He's been around for a while and has a good reputation. I was using, I think it was Stubby's, but he's been closed now for a while. Then it was Gunbunker but they have just gotten stupid expensive on just about everything. I bought three guns last year and I gave them a chance on all of them. The Stag they had was priced for $900+tax and gunbroker offered it up to me for $725 including shipping. I like supporting the local shop but not with that difference. And the stories in there, I wish they would get them right. One guy says this and another says somethign different so you know they are making up BS.

They are at 2420 Springwood road in York. Really good people.
Another vote for Steve. I've done a couple of transfers with him. No hassle, great guy to work with.

I'm a small time gunsmith and 07 FFL down in Windsor, and more than willing to do transfers! My rates are similar to others in the area, $15 each for receivers/frames and $25 for the rest, including the PICS check. I discount multiple gun transfers! I also buy and sell and do special orders in addition to the gunsmithing gig.

+1 to Steve Ebersole for those nearby, he's a great guy and we've referred business to each other lots of times.
