    Default Groundhog hunting

Is there anyone hunting Groundhog here? I am interested in Groundhog hunting but do not know where should be a good place. I checked PA game commission website they say there are some private lands opening for hunting. I am wondering that is there any farm owner who is welcome hunter to hunt groundhogs in their properties? Any suggestion will be welcome.

I'd let you hunt mine, but I already got 'em all.

Maybe post an ad in the Bargain Sheet?

When I lived in Tunkhannock (Wyoming County), the farmers in the area were more than willing to allow chuck hunting on their land, provided you followed reasonable safety rules. At first, I used a .30-06 loaded with 110 gr. bullets but I drew a lot of complaints about the noise. I then purchased a .222 Rem and later a.22-250 to pursue the critters with no further complaints. When scoping out potential hunting grounds, I cruised routes 6 and 29 and some unknown country roads in the county and was always met with cordial and accommodating landowners.
