ADDING A PISTOL TO MY PREMIT

Hi All,
Just got my PA non resident permit, but they did not send any info on how to add my guns to the permit. Is it not required in PA?

Not required. Carry any firearm you may legally possess either OC or CC.

Pennsylvania is, thankfully, still (mostly) free. Carry any and all pistols you desire. Carry an AK Pistol if you so desire (not advised. You'll likely get a visit by the local PD)

Enjoy the freedom. Just close the door when you drop by, we don't like the good NYers letting in any of the refuse from NYC when you drop in to visit.

Edit: make sure you don't bring that AK pistol back to NY though.

Do you have a NY CCW?
PA doesn't issue non res licenses unless your home state issues you one first.

And no.... The PA LTCF is not tied to any firearm.
It's a license for you

Prior to the revisions in the early 90's, PA required a gun's serial number on the license. Most people that I knew had "various" in that spot so that you weren't tied to one gun - that was if the county let you.

When PA entirely eliminates the license requirement to carry at all times, throughout the state and both in and out of vehicles, then we might have cause to gloat. But for now we do infringe the right to bear arms and really aren't in a position to claim the moral high ground except in relative terms.

When it comes to infringement we've established what we are, we're just haggling over the price.
