Philly LTCF Troubles, Gun Permit Unit and "45 days"

Went down today, day calendar day 52, and they issued my license. Thanks everybody

Since you're going down town anyway. If your LTCF is still not issued you could try a trot to city hall and go to your city councilman's office for help. You have one city council man assigned to district where you live and 7 so called at large councilmen who cover the entire city. So you have eight choices. If your councilman's office won't help then start going to the at large council offices. I don't know if this will help, but it is worth a try.

they will not recognize anything required in the UFA unless PPD and the City are sued. the "State of Philadelphia" does what ever it wants. Unfortunately the city loves to waste the taxpayer money. Why NOT! It's not their money!

I never really had a problem getting mine. I submitted the paper work on Jan 5th and then went in around March 20th and picked it up.... I went in before I ever got anything in the mail but I think definitely at least 45 business days had passed

So you did have a problem because they didn't stick to calendar days.
