Just to put a finish to my portion of this thread. The fields are fine. The soil in the yard had reached the saturation point causing everything to drain slower than normal. By limiting the amount of water we used for a few days the problem solved itself and the tank is now at the normal operating level.

The food especially milk and tomatoes play havoc with the microbes in the tank by playing with the pH and oxygen. These microbes are critical to the waste reduction prior to discharge of treated water. The happier the microbes are the better they do their job and the longer it takes to build up solids in the tank forcing you to pump the tank.
