    Default NRA Pa. Outdoor show

The NRA will be running the Outdoor show next year. Yes 2014, In February.
It will be the biggest outdoor show of it's kind in country?

Don't forget to bring your $10 for parking!

For those interested... Bass Pro Shop on Paxton Street in Harrisburg usually offers a free shuttle service to these type events. Depending on traffic the shuttle ride to/from is about 10 minutes. Bass Pro offers parking in an area that is generally safer than the Farm Show parking lot.

If you arrive at the Farm Show building and the lot is full you will be redirected to the overflow parking at the old State Hospital and end up on a shuttle bus anyway and STILL have to pay for parking.

Maybe it's buried in another thread, but....

What is the word on OC/CC at this?

I looked all over the GAOS web site and didn't find any mention of it.

    Thanks for the info.

To get anything more than the few crumbs that Facebook gives you on the 1st page, you must log in. I work in I.T. I know better than to have a Facebook page.

Stopped by saturday. Took awhile to get to the shooting sports area mainly because of where I entered at. Took a shuttlebus from Harrisburg mall. I loved having alot of gun manufactures in one big areana like that. Got some advice from a Mossberg rep about my 930 and finally got to handle one of the Tavors which was soooo cool. Talked to a vendor about a silencer for a 10/22 and drooled over a few colt 1911s and s&w proformance center wheel guns. Best show for gun lovers.

We went down on opening day and parked in overflow. The wait in traffic was longer than the wait for a shuttle. The place was packed until about 3pm.
Wanted to go during the week but our boys registered for the NASP archery shoot, so Saturday it was.
Next year definitely taking a backpack with drinks and subway sandwiches. Food was crazy. Long lines, overpriced and most was not very good, $6.00 for 5 perogies was one of the best prices, I guess all big events have that problem.
Taurus was selling excess magazines, NIB for $15. Got a nice thick leather belt, sized, cut and punched for less than a cheap belt at the mall.
Could have spent ALL day right in the firearms hall.
Nice to see a lot of CC folks knowing there were more that did a better job of keeping them concealed.
Didn't expect to buy anything but walked out with a full bag :-)

All in all found it better, but more packed than 2 years ago.
