Default Good custom shop in SEPA?

Im looking to have some work done on my 1911 and am trying to find a good gunsmith or custom shop in the DELCO/Philly area.

    Any suggestions?

What kind of 1911 and what are you planning? I sent my TRP back to the Mother Ship for some custom work. They were reasonable and the turn around was less than three weeks, door to door. The fact is that I now have paperwork from Springfield Armory authenticating the work and not some unknown gunsmith.
    George,
So many guns, so little money.

I was probably going to get better sights put on the gun and a trigger job. I have heard Springfield does good work but don't want my gun gone forever, but three weeks isn't bad at all.

I used Sean at CDI. He's out in Chalfont but well worth the drive. He has done a couple of 1911 jobs for me and an AR job also. I couldn't be happier with the results and his turn around time is reasonable. I don't know of anyone in Delco that I would trust with gun work.

Classic Pistol in South Hampton does gun work. Good people, but I have never used them for anything other than sales.

That would be Sean from CDI working out of Classic Pistol now. The guy that was there moved on to another shop.
