How about a compromise? Clean half of them now and half later.

They're not dirty enough yet. Put another 300 rounds through one each first.

Eh, relax. You used non-corrosive ammo, there's no rush. Do it later.

Should I clean my guns?
I have 4 pistols and 2 rifles that I have been neglecting to clean for two days. I've put about 15 rounds through each rifle and roughly 200 rounds through each pistol this weekend. I'm really tired and lazy right now and don't feel like cleaning them this evening, but dammit I hate to leave my guns sitting around dirty.
On a lazy scale of 1 to 10, I'm about an 8.5 right now.
What would you do?

Re: Should I clean my guns?
I just cleaned my AR for the first time since early 2006, after about 1500-2000rds of various ammo... I can't, in good conscience say to get up and do it now. I've got a couple 10/22s that probably need a bath too, but hell, I'll do it later.
300 more rounds won't hurt... lolZone1
My Glock does 1d6+3 dmg, but my 18 dex makes up for that...

Sorry...I'm a cleaning Nazi. It took everything I had not to clean the gas system in my Saiga-12 for as long as I did trying to see if it would jam (After 3 years I had to clean it, never jammed I just couldn't take it anymore)

Re: Should I clean my guns?
I'm like scoutjoe, I clean the guns I shoot the same day I get back from the range. Typically I will wet a patch and send it down the barrel to soak while I put away my range stuff. Then, depending on the time of day (and what the wife wants me to do LOL) I may let them sit until the evening to finish the cleaning.

Re: Should I clean my guns?
Good point about the carry weapon. If nothing else I suppose I should probably clean my Glock 26.

Re: Should I clean my guns?
I'm a stickler for a clean gun. Mine get cleaned after every range trip, or once a year if they haven't been fired for a while.

Re: Should I clean my guns?
I always clean my guns after I shoot them. If I don't clean them immediately when I get back from the range, I'll make a point to clean them within a week.
