    Exclamation DESPERATE FOR GLOCK HELP!!!

    Ok Ladies and Gents,

My girl tried to be nice and install a plug on my Glock17 Gen4 as I've wanted one for a while now. It's the thought that counts, but she bought the wrong plug which is now stuck in the grip. She has it pushed in about 1/4", passed the rear grip hole.
Does any know how to get the plug out without damaging the frame? Drilling and taping may be an option, but the material seems as if it would be much to thin. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Dril a hole in the plug itself, then screw a sheet metal screw into it, and pull it out...... Doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure that one out....

I removed one by taking off the slide and removing the trigger bar/ mechanism and pushed out the plug from the top with a wire coat hanger. The one i did was glued in.

Do you have an air compressor? I would use an air blow nozzle and blow it out from the top. You should be able to get a seal around the trigger mechanism to get enough air pressure behind the plug to blow it out.

Thanks for the replies fellas, I'm trying to stay away from screwing anything into the plug after watching several videos of guys trying to remove the plug and cracking the frame. I will try out the other ideas tonight when I get home!

If the more simple solutions mentioned don't work, drill a bunch of holes in the plug until there's barely any material left and pull it out once it's weak enough to collapse on itself.

"Gee, honey, you ruined my gun. You'll have to buy me another one. I'll just throw the old one here in the closet".

    Then follow the suggestions above

This seems to be the simplest way.
