Re: Senate is voting today, Call Now!
After Murphy finished his rambling indirectly reffering to all those in opposition of gun control as irresponsible, he motioned to extend debate until 5:30. I believe they're in recess now.
That the anti-gunners are rambling on, and they're asking for more time, indicates that they're still trying to convince some pro-gun Senators to defect. Hopefully they'll be unsuccessful."Political Correctness is just tyranny with manners"

Re: Senate is voting today, Call Now!
Looks like no vote today, which means: KEEP CALLING! The anti-gunners are going to try and twist arms tonight so they can have a deal tomorrow. We have to keep up the pressure!

My goodness, these people turn any and every crisis into an opportunity to place more restrictions on honest people.
I guess I'll be buying cow poop instead of fertilizer and Non-sealable crock pots/ pressure cookers...for my safety, of course. This is like watching a Seinfeld episode, but it's not funny because we're in it!"I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery." Thomas Jefferson

Biden, GOP aide: Senate getting very close to 60 votes needed for gun control legislation
Update, 7:46 p.m.: The Senate is now scheduled to vote on Wednesday at 4 p.m. on the amendment to expand background checks and close the so-called gun-show loophole.
Read the original story below:
Vice President Joe Biden said Tuesday that Democrats — and a handful of Republicans — are just two votes away from having the 60 votes needed to pass a new round of gun-control legislation.

Re: Senate is voting today, Call Now!
Is there a list of senators we should be calling?
I had been calling Toomey and Casey but I doubt Toomey would vote against his own bill and Casey is a lost cause.

Re: Senate is voting today, Call Now!
All of them, although the ones that might be best to focus on are the 16 Republican senators who voted to allow debate on this issue in the first place. They're likely the swing votes on this issue; see below:
KEEP THE PRESSURE UP TODAY, FOLKS! If Biden is claiming they're "close", it's possible they're gathering support they didn't have yesterday. Keep telling these guys they have an obligation to uphold their Oath of Office!"Political Correctness is just tyranny with manners"
