Wow, I'm amazed at how many rounds your pistol has gone through. I really like the look of the skateboard tape and I think I'm going to apply a few strips onto my carry gun for a better grip. Loved your review, btw.

I've been running it on my carry Glock for sometime now...I absolutely love it. Every gun I shoot for comps or carry will either have skate tape, or aggressive checkering from now on.

I find it SO much easier to run a gun that bites into you hand real well.

That Para looks nice...was the extractor that failed their "PXT" they keep raving about? Thanks!

The extractor failure was a result of the claw shearing off. It was, in fact a power extractor, but that is not what caused the failure. The power extractor is actually pretty cool and is somewhat similar to the expensive aftermarket extractors very popular in competition.

I think that it is fair to say that, after the season is over, my slide is making a trip to Gans Guns. I also want to add a tungsten guide-rod and have the trigger cleaned up. I still need to head up to Lycantown for some Mexican food and gunsmithing!

    Bumpity-bump-bump.

I have an S16-40 Limited on order, and would like to carry it from time to time. What kind of trigger pull does it have? Does the wide body fit in a standard full size 1911 holster, or does it need a special holster? Thanks for any info.

I have been pleased with the trigger on mine. Having said that, any trigger can be improved with a little time and Lycanthrope skills.

The wide body Para's fit in any 1911 holster that I have used, which are the Uncle Mikes and Bladetech varieties. For mag pouches, you will want to look for ones that can accommodate Glock 21(.45 ACP) mags. Regular double stack pouches are not wide enough for the big para mags. I use the Uncle Mikes mag pouches.

It's been a while since I wrote the review and the Para is still running great. Good luck with your new gun. I think you will love it!
