Default AR15 work in Philly or around area

I need a free float hand guard removed and a new one installed. I have the new rail already but I cant get the old one off so its time for professional help.

Unable to get it off with the proper armorer's tool or do you not have the proper tools?

I have the proper tools plus a vice block and a torch to heat it. The problem is its a one piece quad rail with a threaded nut an I can't get enough of a grip on it. I don't want to end up damaging the upper reciever so I'm calling quits.

i just took off my old rock river quad rail. Gun is a few years old with thousands of rounds through it. The rail was really on there and i think rra used some kind of thread locker. But after 10min of cranking on it it came off. now the barrel nut was even harder but both came off with a little bit of elbow grease.

Ended up going to king shooters supply. Gun looks great and it was reasonably priced.

    Couldn't be happier.
