    Question Ruger LCP Availability

Anyone hear anything about when Ruger will have the 380 LCP readily available? Seems like most places have you plop down a deposit and go on the waiting list. I posted just to see if anyone has any inside "poop". Thanks!

    HEY L T C...........................Great Question!

I am 'one' who ploped down $200 deposit back at 3-3-08

Still waiting and I am not holding my breath.
So, to keep BIZZY, I have been looking at the New Walther .22 SP22

Take a look, it will take some of the ruger pain away.

The only one I've seen was at a gun show for $415. The local shop here has 15 people on the waiting list.

I already bought one here in Alaska.

The gun is much better made then kel-tec P3AT. There are no sharp edges grit of the grip, and there is a smooth space to where you hold the gun. I stripped and sat the guns next to each other at the gun store for comparison, they are nearly identical except a few modifications.

Thumbs up Re: Ruger LCP Availability

Thanks for posting. Man, it is a true P I T A when these manufacturers put guns out, like they are testing the waters. The SR9 recall probably has Ruger busy fixing a screw up, and throwing off production of the LCP. They should have known they have a winner with this little gem. Oh well, ...guess I gotta get on the waitin' list. The Mrs. needs a pocket gun and the LCP looks like just what the Dr. ordered.
This seems like a nice forum, been lookin' at it for a while, joined so I could post a question. See ya's later!

My local shop says that none of his distributors are able to get a hold of the LCP and he has no idea when he will be able to get any. It seems that Ruger has created a greater demand than they have supply, which obviously creates a higher price.

We've had them on order at FCO since Feb. We got one in last Fri. and one today. They were both sold to people on the waiting list. IIRC the price was under $300.

I got a quote for $285, but I'd be on a waiting list. Gotta find out how many are on the list because this dealer has only been getting one a week. No I'm not telling cause I want to get on the list soon.

$27 for one of those little mags? That blows.

A lady at my club bought the P3AT and the Ruger a couple weeks ago. I shot them both. I didn't see a $100 difference. I'd buy the KT if it were me.
