Houston Stabbing...Time to take the knives
Breaking news on Fox News. Guess they will be after the knives now. Doesn't this kind of reinforce our point that it's not the tool that's dangerous, but the aggressor?
DEVELOPING: Sheriff's official says one person has been arrested and another remains at large after a stabbing attack at a Houston-area community college campus left 14 people injured, including 12 that required hospitalization.
Lone Star community college's campus in Cypress posted an alert on its website just before 12 p.m. warning students of two armed suspects and saying one person remains at large. The alert warned people to seek shelter in a secure location.
Alan Bernstein of the Harris County Sheriff's Office says authorities have one suspect in custody.
A different Lone Star system campus was the site of a January shooting. Two people were wounded, and a 22-year-old man was charged with aggravated assault.

Re: Houston Stabbing...Time to take the knives
A few of the students that they interviewed expressed that they wanted to be allowed to conceal carry on campus. I'm sure those interviews will ot make it to the mainstream media though. I'm sure the Kenyan was disappointed that the bad guy didn't use a gun.
My prayers go out to those hurt in this incident.

Re: Houston Stabbing...Time to take the knives
I have already been researching this incident an your right so far no mention of anyone saying "it would be or have been nice to be able to carry a firearm on campus " whats worse is this will be swept under the carpet because it dosent fit the political agenda of taking our rights to guns away .

Re: Houston Stabbing...Time to take the knives
I think I'd prefer to be shot than stabbed, IDK just me, if I had to choose between the two

Re: Houston Stabbing...Time to take the knives
Was just on Yahoo. NOTHING on the front page about this incident, but TWO stories about gun control. If the attack had been with a gun this thing would be front page news. Tell me the media isn't biased....BULLSHIT!

I'm in support of background checks on the sale of all knives with a longer than 1-1/2" blade.
