Someone in/near Bucks co w/Colt 1903 exp?

Need someone to completely go over a Colt 1903 manufactured in 1926 and probably not touched in 40 years for function and safety. Any suggestions?

get a field strip manual/video, remove the grips (do not soak), and soak the field stripped gun in mineral spirits 3 days, scrub with toothbrush, dry, reassemble. add a little oil to the slide and test function. simple stuff.

OK "Justashooter", you win. Gun is field stripped and soaking. I ordered a recoil spring because the one in the gun didn't look too happy. We'll see how it turns out. Thank you for the advice!
