“John Doe, an upstanding professional with no outstanding criminal convictions and no history of violent action received a letter from the Pistol Permit Department informing him that his license was immediately revoked upon information that he was seeing a therapist for anxiety and had been prescribed an anxiety drug. He was never suicidal, never violent, and has no criminal history. The New York State Department of Health is apparently conducting a search of medical records to determine who is being treated for anxiety drugs and using this as a basis for handgun license revocation.

Meanwhile the dems that are making these laws will sit back drink themselves into a stuper, smoke pot, pop zanax and do whatever other legal or illegal drug they please. It is ok though dem logic is "do as I say not as I do".

It is time for NY residents to get their Militia together and take back the state. Or should they sit back and wait for the crematories to be finished first?

I wrote the article for Ammoland, if you read the whole thing you will find that I spoke to the Attorney of Record in this matter by phone this morning and he verified (to the extent he could considering its an ongoing case) that this IS happening, RIGHT NOW !

Did any of you read the Kos article linked to by Ammoland?

Apparently we're all white supremacists who are secretly conspiring on hidden forums and blogs about how to intelligently argue against the gun grabbers.

What cracks me up is that this is exactly what they have been doing for years, and I think they are getting angry because we finally caught up.

There is a very distinct rift between our two sides which I refuse to believe is so deep it cannot be bridged. To me this is just another symptom of the desired "divide and conquer" tactic which seems to be flowing from all political angles these days. Divide individual gun owners, take away their freedoms, divide the population at large, take more freedoms, etc. It applies to us all equally.

We all need to come together as one group and tell them that we will not be divided and that all Bill of Rights freedoms are equally valuable.

And then as gun owners, we might have to be ok with other freedoms the majority (or most vocal) of our group currently have a hard time recognizing, such as civil unions for gay people being equal to marriage in the eyes of the law and the like.
