    The cylinder release is right in front of the cylinder.

    The little square nub is there to keep the cylinder in the yoke/crane.

    It's a stop to prevent the cylinder from coming off the crane when dumping the empties...

    It belongs to my buddies dad, he got it while in/just after serving in the Marines probably 30 years ago.

    It has a sweet trigger, especially SA..very smooth.

    Dan Wessons were known for their exceptional triggers and were also the most accurate factory revolver.

    Is there a nub anywhere that will make the picture smaller so we can see the whole gun?
