I definitely agree with you. Glocks may work for some, but for me, the grip is so fat that I cant even get my hand wrapped around it, much less be able to pull the trigger! That's why I'm getting a Kahr--MUCH slimmer design!

Yes, there is something about that distinctive sound of a round being chambered in a pum-action shotgun to give the BGs second thoughts. And, if you actually have to fire it, the BG will end up with MULTIPLE painful holes in his carcass, and any pellets that miss him are NOT going to tear a hole through your house and into the nextdoor neighbor's, as well.

    I'm a 9mm fan. I own two Glocks...a first generation 17 and a second generation 19C.
IMHO, Glocks work best in 9 mm...just an opinion there...

I did have a kaBoom with the 17. It was reloaded ammuntion (when I bought the gun (used), I got well over a thousand rounds of reloaded ammunition with it. After that, I got rid of all the reloads and use only factory new manufacture ammo. That's for all my handguns (but I'd consider reloads or remanufactured for revolvers).

They're great guns...and if the G21 (and it's smaller bretheren, the G30) works for you...then that's the way to go.

It seems the biggest problem with kaBooms in Glocks is with the .40 caliber guns. However, I see a lot of police departments are still using them....so, kaBooms can't be too big a problem.

I own two Glock 23's. I think that they are a very good pistol but I stopped shooting them when I bought a Springfield xd40. I just like the way that the xd40 feels and shoots.

Cool Re: GLOCK 23! Possibly the perfect pistol!

Is there anyone out there that loves glocks as much as I do. I retract my previous statment that the Glock 23 is the perfect pistol but its pretty amazing. I would carry nothing but my glock 23 for self defense here in philadelphia. Because I know if I cannot escape from a really bad situation and I had to defend myself, when I squeeze that trigger I know that the bad guy isnt getting up and that my weapon will fire. So is there any other Glock lovers out there or i am the only 1! And thanks all of you for your opinions. Great insights on your different views!

There are hordes who love the Glock. I'm definitely not in that camp, but you're not alone in loving your Tupperware.
