Adding a bayonet lug to neutered AK

Say a person has a WASR 10/63 that has a neutered bayonut lug but wants to be able to attatch a bayo. How hard would it be for said person to go about swapping the front gas block piece for a non-neutered one? Or can some material be added to make it non-neutered?

Said person has M70B1 and dislikes the fact the WASR cant use a bayo...

you have to remove the front sight and gasblock then find a romianian gasblock and reassemble. a yugo gas bolck will not fit. or you could make a bayonet lug from steel and weld to the original gasbolck.

What thw last guy said, replace the gas block or do some welding. My mak90 barely couldnt hold a bayonet as it was slightly ground down, so I just added some weld and ground to fit.

Check out the clamp on under folding bayonets. They look and work well. All you need is an Allen wrench or a screw driver....

I pounded everything off and switched the gas block...

Welding on nubs and filing to fit, if they were ground would be the easier move.

Look at the "Zeke Shoots" AK videos on youtube.

If you don't have a vise that large (I don't), consider waiting for Harbor Freight to put 12-ton shop presses on sale for $90 again. Much easier with a shop press anyway.
