Default Who would oppose common-sense gun legislation?

MAIG has set up a link at popvox where you can send a message to your legislators about whether you support "common sense legislation to end gun violence." So I have just sent a message to my representatives that I oppose common-sense legislation, lol! Gotta love the way they have that structured. It's 20% against right now, but it's making the rounds of the gun forums. Have at it!

Here's the link to popvox and an article on TTAG.

I looked at the poll and was surprised to find it's not the common-sense gun legislation that I propose

Done. It is kinda silly that they make you say "I oppose common sense gun legislation"

I rarely do these if I am required to submit my email, but did it anyway since this one is an ANTI letter writing campaign.
Figured I'd throw a wrench in the works by being a fly in the ointment.

I oppose "Common Sense" Legislation to End Gun Violence because...

    It's a FARCE.

Keep in mind who you work for. HINT: It's NOT Bloomberg.

If you are on board with additional restrictions, you lose my vote.
As a matter of fact, I will work ten times harder to get you voted OUT if you side with "common sense".

Comon sense gun legislation sounds good. I'd start with nationwide reciprocity.

That is intentional based upon what you selected initially.

The stupid gun owners will see that and say, "Oh, wait, I don't oppose COMMON SENSE legislation!"

Sorry bud, get in line. We are starting with the 1968 GCA and then moving back towards the 1934 NFA and forward towards import bans. Then I'll pass you the gavel.

Well I wrote in the email that I oppose common sense gun legislation because there is absolutely nothing "common sense" about it. Short and sweet

If y'all really want a kick, read some of the other letters written by people. It seems that all of the letters are hand picked and lengthy. And go figure all of them are gun grabbers

Kind of a no win answer question, like did you stop beating your wife. Who could oppose common sense gun legislation? that would depend on your defenition of common sense.

I'll take my "common sense" from Thomas Paine, not Michael Bloomberg.

"The supposed quietude of a good mans allures the ruffian; while on the other hand, arms like laws discourage and keep the invader and the plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property. The same balance would be preserved were all the world destitute of arms, for all would be alike; but since some will not, others dare not lay them aside...Horrid mischief would ensue were one half the world deprived of the use of them..." (Thomas Paine, I Writings of Thomas Paine at 56 [1894])

“I Do Think There Are Certain Times We Should Infringe On Your Freedom.”
    -Michael Bloomberg
