They don't have the same amount of funding. Recent events have taught me if your group is tied to the Democrats that funding will virtually be unlimited. Lots of ridiculously wealthy individuals (Multi-Billionaires) are Democrats and feel more comfortable ruling over unarmed subjects. The NRA doesn't seem to have such friends. Thinking about it I am surprised we have made it this far considering how money means more in this society than freedom.
Sanity, yours if you can keep it.....

Just saw the one about "preserving gun rights by voting for reasonable comprehensive background checks" or something to that effect.

How does more gun control lead to preserving gun rights?

My thought is.... It doesn't at all. It just leads to more government oversight over something that is a RIGHT not a privelege.

Such advertising only serve to galvanize both sides of the issue. The court of public opinion is going against the anti gun zealots, the percentage of individuals favoring stricter gun laws, whatever that means, is down from 56 percent just after sandy hook to 46 percent.

Time is of the essence in pushing for strict anti gun laws, and the leftists were not able to deliver quick legislation. This unlike the quick action taken by the antis in 1968 leading to the gun control act of that year. Their expectations of an actual anti gun ownership bill being passed is diminishing everyday. This battle is not over and never will be, but their prize of outlawing semi auto rifles and hi cap mags. does not appear to be within grasp this year, despite bloomturds money.

Even so, the senate will probably pass some sort of mandatory registration bill, but its future in the house is another matter. Next year is an election year which brings forth its own can of worms.
