    Default Just a heads up.

I went to a public range here in Wisconsin today. I had my Mossberg MVP. It uses AR Magazines. One guy specifically was making comments about ar mags. When it came time to change targets I slipped my one Mag in my pocket I noticed he stayed back. When I returned to the firing line, all he said was A$$hole and walked off. Just a heads up.
I always stressed to my son"one shot one kill that was all that is needed". When He came home from Marine Corp Boot camp He was telling me about the Marines stressing "ONE SHOT ONE KILL" He looks at me and the light bulb went on Dad was now a whole lot smarter than he was 13 weeks ago.

Public ranges have always been a haven for thieves. Though it always seemed a strange place to steal things.
When I would go to one, someone from my group would always stay back at the bench to make sure nothing waked away.

Absolutely, and never have all your guns empty at the same time!

Thanks for the heads up. Glad you weren't a victim. Honestly, I wouldn't even walk down range with an asshole like that on the line.

I thought the brass nazis were bad enough! It may have looked a little funny, but I had 3 holstered guns at the range once. I'm a runner, but I'm sure there a lot of people who can beat me in the 10 or 25 yard dash! Be careful.
    ...and they have a plan...

That would have tested my already tested Christianity. I've already seen two blokes at the range I go to get yoked out for doing stupid while being there. Both have been trespassed with permanent timeouts.
BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.

I have only met the nicest people at my local gun range here in Pennsylvania.

Maybe it's because Nittany Lions are a nicer lot than Badgers!!

    I couldn't resist the Big 10 slap. I'm a PSU alum.

In reality, even though I have met nothing but the nicest people at the range, nothing stays unattended on the bench.

I had a guy tell me the brass coming out of my own gun was his because he cleans up the place I told him touch the brass and we have issues. I had maybe 5 rounds laying around my bench
