Hybid holster advice
I am looking at an OWB Foxx Leather hybrid holster. The question for you people that have a leather/kydex hybrid holster is, do you end up with wear and or marks on the slide of your gun from the kydex? I have a Kahr CM9 with a stainless slide.
Thanks for the help !

Re: Hybid holster advice
Mine has none. No marks. I assume it will have marks in the future. But I have been wearing it for about 9 months now. No marks. I bought mine from hidden hybrid holster. http://www.hiddenhybridholsters.com/
It has retention adjustment screws. I figure that helps so there's little movement/play.
EDIT: There is some smoothing/shiny portion on the trigger-guard. barely noticeable. It is where the gun "clicks" in into the holster.Last edited by filgun11; March 29th, 2013 at 02:23 PM.

Any gun you carry will eventually show some wear. Appreciate the job the gun is doing.

Re: Hybid holster advice
There is always one in the crowd ! I realize that a carry gun with show wear, my current one does, I just don't want to speed up the process by using a holster that will wear my Kahr out prematurely.

Re: Hybid holster advice
And the holster...don't want your gun coming out unless it's pulled out.
Generally speaking, if it's keeping the gun in place like it is supposed to, it will eventually get a mark on it. I put 'getting holster marks on my carry gun' in the same importance as I do putting that shiny tire stuff on my work truck.BCM and Glock...for a bigger pile of 'cold dead hands' brass.
