Default Serbu Firearms Refuses to Sell .50 Cal Sniper Rifles to NYPD

**I bet that Barrett and Armalite refused to sell to them so they tried Serbu.

Serbu Firearms Refuses to Sell .50 Cal Sniper Rifles to NYPD

Serbu Firearms, a manufacturer of bolt-action and semi-automatic .50 caliber sniper rifles, is refusing to sell their wares to the NYPD. Their reason, of course, is that owing to unfair gun laws, they will not support law enforcement in New York.

Serbu is one of almost 150 companies that has officially refused to sell to law enforcement in New York following the passage of the SAFE Act, the controversial gun control package that has been met with scorn by gun owners across the nation.

Imagine shooters like the NYPD with fifty caliber firearms. They hit how many bystanders with 9mms.

Imagine how they'd perform with a fifty caliber. Probably kill lots of folks, all of whom Mikey Bloomberg would eulogize as "victims of gun violence".

Awesome to hear that and if I ever have the money I would support them by buying one.

Actually thought it would be a good idea for companies to not sell to New York LE Departments only from the standpoint that if you deem items no longer suitable for civilians, then LE can have the same.

Seems like 150 companies are doing the same, I'd be curious to know what companies are doing this.

Not that I have anything against NY LE Departments, per se, but if the Prez can 'make it hurt' with sequestration, then companies can 'make it hurt' for those who enact and enforce laws that will hurt their bottom line.

Think it makes perfect social justice libs should be all for, no?

I'd like to see S&W, Colt, Glock, etc get on board with this. But right now they're making money on both sides.

Because the government really built their respective businesses, let alone the 'sequestration' was only enough to shut down tours of the WH. I recognize this actually can be partially true in this industry.

This is precisely the reason why I'm proud to say I do not own any of their firearms. I hope I can proudly own one someday soon but I wont fund a 'double agent'.
Home brewing; because Jeeps and ammunition aren't cheap. WILL WORK FOR AMMO & FIREARMS!
