Here are the details. The Mayors Against are having a rally and press conference with Nutter the day after tomorrow. Here are details:

What: Press Conference with Mayor Nutter

When: Thursday, March 28, 12:00 PM

Where: Widener Library
2808 W Lehigh Ave
Philadelphia, PA

They ask for RSVP's but I think anyone can show up.

Can the Philly members get a group to attend carrying signs?

It would be nice if we held our own press conference.

I do not live in Philly, but I may be able to attend.

An idea that I would like to see happen is to have a group of open carriers do some sort of volunteer work. Not a protest, but just to show everyone that we really are good guys.

Any ideas?

Kind of an odd location for a public event. Seems almost like they purposely tried to hide it so they could control who goes. a library, in a shit neighborhood, with no parking. hmmm

At least the local unions hate Nutter now, so they won't be bussing bodies in to make it look like anyone cares.

I don't know the area at all but I thought the address was strange. Is this in west Philly?

I live in upper Bucks (now) but I claim Pittsburgh as home.

We need lawyers to volunteer some of their time and be there with us if we are going to counter this! It's guaranteed there will be illegal arrest.

That's less than 10 minutes from my house in East Falls. It's a shame I can't go, I am at work on Thursdays at noon so I can pay taxes to support most of the people in that neighborhood.

Anybody post it on the city union website? They might have a couple comments for the mayor. Like why is he there and not working on their contracts...
