Skyy CPX-1/Taurus Millenium Pro
I have been looking for a new pistol for CCW, and after extensive online research, I've narrowed it down between the Skyy CPX-1 and the Taurus Millenium Pro Pt-111. Just wondering if anyone here has any experience with either. I'd really like to pick up a Skyy, but haven't had much luck finding one locally.
The Taurus revolvers (.44 and .17) look quite nice and are on the list for further down the road.

Re: Skyy CPX-1/Taurus Millenium Pro
I have the Millennium Pro PT-111, it's very nice. I have no experience with your other choice but the Milpro is my daily carry weapon, so far I have never experienced any issues at all with it. My only issue with the gun is that it's a pain in the ass to find any good holsters that fit it. That and most of the magazines for it are somewhat expensive $35-40. Aside from that the gun is nice and very reliable. I would just look into hosters first and make sure you can find one for the gun you're going to carry, as I said, my quest for a good holster for it has been rough so I have been carrying in a nylon uncle mike's.

the skyy is just a copy of a keltec p11. the kt's operate better and are higher quality handguns. they are cheaper too.

I have the older PT111, not the Pro, and a PT745C .45acp Millenium Pro. Both have done me well so far.

I have the Millenium Pro PT745 and really like it also. I have no experience with the Skyy. I'm a fairly big guy and can conceal the PT pretty easily IC or OC.

Re: Skyy CPX-1/Taurus Millenium Pro
I have a Taurus PT-140 (non Pro) and have been quite pleased with it. It took some practice to get used to the DAO trigger but once I did I found the Taurus to be quite consistent at 10 to 15 yards.

Re: Skyy CPX-1/Taurus Millenium Pro
Just a follow up:
After much deliberation between the two, I picked up a Skyy at the HBG gun show this passed Sunday. Found a brand new one for a price that made it a no-brainer. I have around 150 rounds through it, and my only complaint--sore thumbs from stiff magazine springs. Anticipate improvement with use.
Any other Skyy owners here?
