Default 357 DA Revolver that can use 9mm moon clips

I was wondering if anyone knows of a DA 375 Revolver that accepts 9mm moon clips without the cylinder needing modified?
I have a Ruger New Model Blackhawk Convertible with the 357 and 9mm cylinders. Ive shot maybe 100 rounds through it. I love the way it shoots and the versatility of it. I would like something that loads faster and I dont realy want to leave the 9mm behind.

Ruger made the SP-101 in 9mm, but I don't think they turn up very often.

I'd like to have my SRH Alaskan milled to accept .45 ACP. The nice thing is that it doesn't prevent continued use of .45 Colt or .454 Casull since it doesn't effect how the cartridge headspaces.

I doubt you can get a half moon clip to fit in a 357 and I would think shooting a 9mm out of a 357 would kill the accuracy because a 9mm bullet is just a tad smaller diameter than a 357.

ruger once made a single action that had two cyclinders, one for 357/38, and the other in 9mm. it was called the convertable single six. i don't know of any double actions through.

Bullet diameter isn't really an issue. We're only talking .002" - negligible and why the Blackhawk works with both.

The problem is case dimensions. .38 and .357 are straight-walled cases, the 9mm has a slight taper to the body of the case. The base of the 9mm measures 9.93mm and tapers to 9.65mm at the mouth, whereas the .38/.357 is a consistent 9.6mm. The base of the 9mm case may not even fit in the .38/.357 chamber. You need a separate cylinder made to the 9x19 dimensions.

Taurus and Charter Arms (I think it's available now) currently make 9mm snubbies. Ruger did in the SP101 and Smith did in the 940 (uses moonclips) and the 547 (no moonclips needed), but all are tough to find and the Rugers and Smiths are "spendy" when/if you do.

It will, it'll actually fall right through a 38 cylinder and feels very loose doing it.
