There is a video on Youtube of Joshua Prince explaining how to open carry in the only first class city of PA-Philadelphia. He is a attorney, practicing law in case anyone get arrested. But meanwhile to open carry in Philly you need a ccw. (I know it sounds stupid, because it is) So make sure you bring it on Saturday. Philly cops can be hardasses and who wants to spend a night in jail with all the riffraff. (and by riffraff I mean the guards). The only other law was recently passed and bans firearms from city parks. It may be a problem or not. Depends on the DA and police. Councilman David Oh, one of two council members to vote against Bill No. 130065, argues that the ban hurts legal handgun owners since in most shooting cases at city parks have involved illegal guns.“There’s not one case that has indicted that the criminal involved was a legal handgun owner,” he said. Again since Philly is "SPECIAL" they like to do things there own way. BTW 80% of Firearm Homicide of PA occurs in Philly. Maybe that does make them special.
