Question OWB holster options for a Kahr CM9

I am just trying to get some opinions for OWB carry for my new Kahr CM9. I have a Sneaky Pete's cell phone style holster now, but I was looking for other options to change things up. Belt slide, paddle, etc. What is everyone using? Please don't suggest an IWB holster, I never was comfortable carrying that way and am not going to start now.

    Thanks !

I'm currently using a Crossbreed Snapslide for my Ruger SR40c, Beretta PX4 Storm and BERSA Thunder .380. I like these holsters very much. Very comfortable holster, tight to the waist and good retention. One thing I will be adding to my next Crossbreed Snapslide is the sweat guard extended leather. Hopefully that will also prevent the hammer/beavertail/safety from occasionally digging into my side.

I had a Fobus OWB for my CM9, but I mainly carried IWB or pocket carry...had a crossbreed for IWB. The Fobus was ok, just never really carried that way all that much. Now stepped up to a Glock 26 and use a crossbreed for that too. I realize this post did not help at all, but maybe you should try a crossbreed or a variant thereof. The pistol is small enough to be easily and comfortably carried by that means. Good luck.

Looks like a nice holster. Have you noticed any wear/marks on the slide from the Kydex material of the holster?

I got a Kydex OWB holster from PJ Holsters for my CM9.... To be honest I hate it.

I think it would be decent with a bit of cant (it has none), but as it is it is somehow less comfortable than my Kydex OWB holster for my full size XDM. I can't quite wrap my around how it is so uncomfortable. Aside of course, from my full size love handles, which I also carry OWB.

If you are looking for leather check out Lobo Gun Leather. I have several holsters made by them and they are high quality holster that are reasonably priced.

Yes, but not too overly worried about the wear marks.

This is the BERSA wear mark on the slide

And this the Beretta wear mark

I carry my CM9 in a Lobo Gun Leather holster. It is not my first Lobo, I like them a lot.

I had ordered a JIT slide from Don Hume, was told four months, it took eight months to arrive. I had my Lobo holster in five weeks, but then that was before this past election.

I'll order from Lobo Gun Leather again when the need arises.
