Default Good FFL for Transfers near Exton?

(Just bumping this up, after the holidays. Still looking...)

re: Good FFL for Transfers near Exton?

I am looking for someone careful :-), for firearm transfers around
    the Exton, PA area.

I don't want a store, like Dicks, that will bounce, play, drop, etc
    the things I get around.

I had been going to a 01FFL associated with a gun range near
    Coatesville, but they moved.

Does anyone have someone good that they would recommend?

    Note:

I have already looked at GunBroker, AuctionArms, ShotGunNews and
several other FFL listings on the web.

They are usually very old, and most of the people on there have either
quit, or do not have complete contact info.

I would prefer a recommendation from someone that knows a
    FFL that they like.

    Thanks
    ~Bill

If you go over to gunbroker..... http://www.gunbroker.com/User/DealerNetwork.asp

put in your Zip code and it will list the closest to you.

    Hi Greg:

    I PM'd you this too.

That location is about 50 minutes away.
(but the transfer fee sure is appealing).

If anyone has someone good closer, that would be great.

    Thanks

Ed at Farmers Market is a good guy, but won't do personal transfers, I did however have a gun sent to him from out of state and while it did run a little foul due to the sender sending it US mail (a big no no) Ed is a stand up guy, even if his prices run a little high sometimes.

I don't know where you got the $20 transfer requirement associated to me -- I believe that was a post from someone else (namely, it was your response to GunMetal). My requirement was that it not be a store where it would be mishandled/juggled around.

I am aware of Gordon's. They charge too much and aren't great with transfers -- I've tried them once.

I've talked to the Farmer's Market owner several times, including back when he was in Downingtown (where Home Depot is now). He seemed cocked and grouchy. Unfriendly at best -- and that was just to the people he was talking to ahead of me :-(

    Thanks
