The picture of a lesson learned....
Ha Ha! Looks like my son Miles learned himself a lesson!
Here's the culprit (blowing candles out at Old Country Buffet)
He just turned 3 years old - and of the 4 kids....he's the one who still wants to taste stuff.
Worry not ye keen, cautious, parent folk out there - we keep all the bad stuff locked away.
Hell - there are some PAFOA members here that may have been FORCED to eat this stuff as a child for certain language infractions! Anyone care to admit it?Gary in Pennsylvania

Wow... am I the only one who's mother didn't punish for using profanity - rather instructed on the proper and appropriate use thereof?

My Mother would act like I broke her heart. Like I had just let her down.
It hurt more.

Huh I used to get liquid dawn for back talking. That shit is nasty. I also remember getting a shoe thrown at me and then being made to bring it back.

Re: The picture of a lesson learned....
ROFL. My mom used the soap. She also accidentally bloodied my nose once. I tossed a sega controller and yelled the F word. She stormed in and tried to smack my mouth, but I moved and she caught me in the nose. She felt terrible for the most part. Her apology was "I'm sorry I busted your nose, but you shouldn't swear" I never let her live it down.
EDIT: She didn't really break my nose. She punished me, but was never abusive.

Re: The picture of a lesson learned....
I ate my share of Where's Waldo soap. I think I ate more than I used (no surprise to anyone that knows me).
That wasn't even for saying bad words. That was for saying words "close" to bad words. Like shucks!, heck!, "H-E-Double-Hockey-Sticks", Fudge!, Shoot!, etc."Because I'm an American." - MtnJack

Re: The picture of a lesson learned....
I learned most of my early profanity and dirty jokes from my mother.
I was also allowed to draw on the windows and the bottom of our kitchen table.
My mother was a hippie at heart. God bless her for realizing the difference between a kid being a kid and truly bad behavior.
