Springfield XDS at Hamburg Cabelas???

I'm looking to pick up a Springfield XDS and have gift card money to spend a Cabelas. Has anyone been there recently and seen them in stock? I've tried calling but they won't forward calls to the gun department (wtf?).

It's about an hour drive from my house so if anyone has visited the gun counter recently and can let me know I'd appreciate it.

I have my eye out for a full size XDM in 45 ACP. Last week when I was there they had a single XDS and I believe it was a black slide.

I know I have seen them come in stock at Gander Mnt periodically over the past few weeks. And think it was $579 or $599 not really sure which right now.

damn, $649. I want one but I am really wishing I would have pulled the trigger to buy it back in Nov. I think msrp was $529 for it in black.

supply & demand is a SOB at times, well for us on this side of the counter anyway. For our dealers out there it is helping them put a little extra food on their tables. If the can get the supply.

Didnt see one there last sunday...and i know the XDS is a hot item right now. If you want it you better be knocking on the door at opening time.

They will price match any shop within 50 miles. Get a quote from any shop and tell the clerk your using it for cabelas. 99% of the time the gun will be one that the local shop owner can't get due to the market anyway, in such situations they will be more than happy to write you a quote for dealer price. Just to stick it to cabelas.

I always prefer my local shop over cabelas. But if the local guy can't even order it, no other option.

Was there on Friday ,,,no xds in the case at all. Bunch of sweet kimbers tho and sigs were heavy in stock as well. Was eyeing up a Springfield emp in 9mm they had there would love to get one of those someday.
