Re: Ammo Report- Erie Area- Post any finds here
70 bucks for Aquila bricks? Wow!!! I just ordered a brick of CCI minimags for less than that. With shipping. I've about given up on 22lr in town. I'm tired of getting the runaround at Bob's and Walmarts. I've been using gunbot, and gotten some reasonable prices, like 7cents per round, but usually good stuff. No bargains, but I'll have 1700 rounds by next week, enough to last me until summer.
Walmart in the city had 9mm for 14.67, Winchester.
Where did you see 380?

Re: Ammo Report- Erie Area- Post any finds here
Last week I picked up 2 boxes of 22lr from Wal-mart on Elm. Will be picking up a cheap .22 with income taxes to shoot at the range. Figured I would get some ammo to at least shoot when i pick it up.

Re: Ammo Report- Erie Area- Post any finds here
Gander Mountain in Erie is loaded with everything..........except 380 and 22lr. I was able to get a brick of Federal and 220 round box of Winchester high velocity 22lr online for 25 + 14 bucks free ship to store. Gunbot alert at about 2 AM.
Fiocchi 9mm FMJ was 13.67 for 50. Unfortunately I don't have a 9mm.

Re: Ammo Report- Erie Area- Post any finds here
Well its been a year since I started this thread. Lately I haven't needed to shop because most places finally have their shelves stocked.
22LR and .380 are still rare to find everywhere, as well as some protection 9mm rounds.
Unfortunately the PRICES HAVE NOT DROPPED yet.
I hope we don't have to wait years for that.
I miss buying a 50 box of 9mm for less than $10.00

Re: Ammo Report- Erie Area- Post any finds here
Just a little warning about the Winchester 222 bulk 22lr. I got a dud about every 10 rounds, then a squib. The bullet stuck halfway up the barrel. Just thought I'd post this since I noticed Presque Isle Gun Shop has these for ONLY $21.95. I wouldn't take a box of these if they were free.
