    Default Glock19 Gen3 - Please help

I'm a first time Glock owner and today I decided to disassemple and make sure she was clean before taking her out for the first time to make some noise. Please pardon my ignorance but i believe it's the ejector. If it's called something else please tell. Anyway look at the pic, I circled the part in red. Is it supposed to be bent like a left handed hockey stick blade or straight ? This gun was bought brand new. Still unfired, except from the factory 2 casings.

It's fine. Go have some fun. Good of you to have the smarts to ask though.

Yes it is done at the factory to accomodate the narrow 9mm cartridge , on the .40, 10mm, .357 and .45 it is straight.

    Good observation though.

Thank you very much. Yea on my Beretta .40 it's straight. That's why I asked. Much appreciated.

Its normal for 9mm gun. 40SW/10mm, and 45 guns are straight

At least it leans to the right instead of the left but then again it is a gun.

    Looks broken and now worthless.

You should give it to me and get another for yourself

As others have said, it is correct for 9mm Glocks. The other calibers are straight due to case size. Take it to the range (or give it to me anyway ) and have a crap load of fun with it.

It's actually a fairly commonly-asked question, so don't feel silly about asking.
