Anyone get the flyer from CTD today?

The title reads:

"Buy now before they're banned! Massive Ammunition Magazines!"

Then shows a few 20 round AR15 mags, a 30 round AK mag, some glock mags, and a drum mag for an AR15.


Did these piles of hot crap catch something I missed regarding a "ban" ?

I used to buy stuff from them all the time. Had decent prices on some things. But after this display of price gouging and scare tactics I will never spend another penny with them and will let my buddies know as well not to shop there.

On the other spectrum midway USA hasn't raised any prices on ak mags or other mags I need. I get notified via email when they arrive and I love shopping with them.

MidwayUSA is great. I bought a couple Tapco AK mags @ 12.99/each or something the other day. They sell out quickly but they're not constantly harassing me to spend my tax return or trying to scare me about bans like CTD does. Even after I've unsubscribed from their emails... twice..

They were gouging in 2008-2009 as well. But, yeah, I saw that panic email. That's really disgusting.

I never bought from them since the 2008 nonsense but within the last six months I tried to buy some tracers off of them. Simply because they were surplus, going to run out and never be available again, and I shot some a friend got from them and really liked them. Well, I didn't end up getting them from CTD but I am on their email list now.
